Located on the third floor of the Mansion, the Pringle Suite features a large private bedroom with an antique king size bed, working desk, and seating area attached to a well-appointed sitting room with a decorative fireplace, unique queen sofa day bed, and 55-inch smart TV. The suite also includes a full private bathroom with a shower. Traditional architectural details include hardwood floors, high ceilings, brass fixtures, and crown moldings throughout the suite.

One of our more historic suites, the Pringle Suite is perfect for guests who prefer more history and fewer contemporary touches. Desks, tables, chairs, and beds are either antique or period appropriate. This 458 square foot suite is adorned throughout with antiques authentic to the Mansion’s time period.

Natural light abounds through windows in every room (including the bathroom), and the quaint sitting area by the window boasts a stunning view of White Point Gardens. Both the bedroom and the living room include decorative fireplaces with large mirrors above as well, adding both charm and more natural light.

The separate well-appointed living room features a unique queen sofa day bed, making the Pringle Suite capable of housing four guests maximum.

Located on the ground floor of the Mansion facing White Point Gardens and the charming front garden, the Stevens Classic suite boasts truly unique details throughout. Built in what was once the mansion’s historic kitchen, this suite overflows with unique period architecture and furnishings, including exposed wooden ceiling beams, extensive brickwork, checkerboard tile floors, an original (c. 1870) cooking hearth, and a decorative fireplace dating to 1843.

As you enter the Stevens Classic under the front Piazza off the front courtyard, you’ll be greeted by subtle shuttered windows as you descend the two steps down to the doorway. Enjoy a tasteful mix of antique charm, original finishes, and contemporary luxury throughout every inch of this 350-square-foot suite.

The antique king size bed is topped with a luxury mattress that beckons you to relax after a long day of touring the magnificent city of Charleston, and the fully updated spa-like private bathroom is the perfect way to pamper yourself throughout your stay.

Not ready to call it a night? Enjoy peaceful moments in the small sitting room adjoining the bedroom, or polish off some work at the contemporary work desk.

This lower-level room stays cool and shady all year round and boasts some of the best preserved original features of the mansion. It’s a unique stay full of character and class, and it’s waiting for you!

Located on the first floor of the Mansion, the Blacklock-Ravenel King Room features large windows, original hardwood flooring, plenty of ambient natural light, and high ceilings, along with a seating area, working desk, and well-appointed bathroom with walk-in tiled shower.

As you enter the room, you’ll be greeted with a luxurious antique king size bed, two small side tables, a working desk, and a separate seating area outfitted with deep navy chairs. The 55-inch smart television is mounted so that you can enjoy it from the bed or seating area.

Just off the bedroom you’ll find a spacious bathroom replete with a walk-in tiled shower and Gilchrist & Soames amenities.

One of our more affordable rooms, the Blacklock-Ravenel King room nevertheless retains the 20 South Battery ethos by including many of the touches from our larger suite in a smaller 350 square-foot space. The perfect escape for couples and solo travelers, the Blacklock-Ravenel King awaits you for your next visit to the Holy City.

Just out the back door of the suites lies a brick carriageway that leads to the property’s lovely Arbor Garden.

In the attached sitting room you’ll find a second working desk and chair along with a contemporary seating area with a Queen sleeper sofa. A private bathroom with enclosed glass shower (or tub/shower combination) and backlit mirror rounds out this spacious yet budget-conscious suite.

With 600 square feet of living space, our most affordable suites don’t skimp on space, style, or comfort. Both the bedroom and the sitting room include a 55-inch smart TV, and historic hardwoods run beneath both rooms in the suite. Built into the mansion’s former cistern and wine cellar, the Devereux Suite exudes charm and character. Located just off the front courtyard, this Grand suite has a semi-private garden terrace entrance with French Doors for enjoying the coastal Charleston breeze. A king size bedroom, separate living room, and luxuriously appointed private bath combine to give you a sanctuary to call your own.

Descend two steps from the ground level courtyard entrance and enter the Devereux Suite living room. The gentle barrel-shaped ceiling reveals the room’s historic roots, while the checkerboard marble tile, white-and-chrome furnishings, and contemporary turquoise seating create a comfortable atmosphere that blends historic and contemporary. A rolling table does double duty as a media stand or work desk, depending on your preferences. Kick back and enjoy the large wall-mounted smart television, cozy up with a book, or enjoy conversation with your companion: with 515 square feet of space, the Devereux Suite is large enough to make your own.

Continue through the living room and enter the bedroom, appointed with an antique four poster king bed, open closet, and a second mounted smart television. Just off the well-appointed bedroom you’ll find the suite’s bathroom, which boasts a floor-to-ceiling tile and glass shower, an oversized backlit frameless mirror, and contemporary fixtures that add to the white-and-chrome theme.

Note: Entering the Devereux Suite requires descending two steps. Also, though well-lit and airy, this room does not have any windows to the outside other than the Main Entrance Door leading into the sitting room.
